8 Simultaneous Imaging Sessions

Atola TaskForce combines vast multi-tasking capabilities with the fastest imaging engine in the forensic market.

To support multiple simultaneous imaging sessions and other processes running on its 18 ports at top speeds, The TaskForce unit is assembled from extremely robust, high-capacity components that include a server motherboard, an 8-core Xeon CPU 3.7 GHz and ECC RAM.

Our imaging engine supports top imaging speeds of 540+ MB/s, thus allowing TaskForce to achieve 15 TB/hour cumulative imaging speed when running 8 parallel sessions.

9 and more sessions can be running simultaneously, however the speed of other long-running tasks may be influenced in this scenario.

Source evidence drives can be imaged to up to 5 targets each. Targets may include other drives or E01/RAW files located on a network server. TaskForce is equipped with two 10Gb Ethernet ports, thus enabling high data transfer rates.

Taking advantage of multiple ports

All 18 ports of the hardware unit can be used as either a source or a target thanks to the Source/Target switch.
If the Source mode is enabled, write protection is enabled. The 18 ports include:

   - 6x SATA
   - 6x SATA/SAS
   - 4x USB
   - 1x IDE  +4x IDE with our optional USB 3.0 to IDE adapter
   - Extension slot (for Atola Thunderbolt, Apple PCIe SSD and M.2 PCIe/SATA SSD extension modules).
